Segun has recently scored Kingdom, BBC Studios Natural History Unit's new six-part series.
Filmed across five years in a single spectacular location, the lives and fates of our four families – leopards, hyenas, wild dogs and lions – are inextricably linked as they strive for a foothold in a remote and fertile river valley in Zambia. As well as the intense power struggles between these top predators, the series shows how a colourful supporting cast, from powerful elephant herds to flocks of hamerkops to troops of marauding baboons, impact our central characters in surprising ways.
Kingdom will be narrated by Sir David Attenborough (Parenthood, Ocean with David Attenborough, Mammals). Key creatives include executive producer Mike Gunton (One Life, Planet Earth II), Series Editor Simon Blakeney (Dynasties II, Earth's Great Rivers) and Series Producer Felicity Lanchester (Africa, Dynasties II).
The series will be released on BBC One & iPlayer in the UK in 2025, amongst many others internationally, plus BBC America & AMC+ in the USA in 2026.
